P4CM Interview

What's good ya'll! I had to put this up. It really touched me. Let me give you a breakdown. Sometime ago, BET did an interview with Young Jeezy. I'm quite sure some of you saw it, or maybe not. Anyway, Passion for Christ Movement (P4CM) did their own follow up interview. The results were interesting. It basically helps to breakdown how secular rap infiltrates the mind of the youth (and even adults), to nullify the part of the brain that induces common sense and reasoning. It's amazing what you realize when the beat is taken away and you get just the lyrics. Peep the video and see for yourselves.

I think many people get tired of hearing about how secular music is bad. As some say, they are just listening to the beats and not the lyrics, but I really think this video shows exactly why you shouldn't listen to secular music, whether the words or just the music. So many people want to live right, but never stop to think about how secular music takes such a hold on their life. If people would really stop and really listen to what is being said within the lyrics, many would be offended. Living for God means denying the things of the flesh. Secular music goes against what God wants for us. Secular music speaks of drugs, alcohol, fornication, going to hell, and so many things that God does not want for us. One true thing I guess that can be taken from Jeezy is the comment about going to hell. If we as people turn from true Christianity and living for the One True God, then hell is the only outcome. On a personal note, knowing that fact helps me strive daily for perfection, because eternal life with Christ is the outcome I want for myself and everyone else. Think about what is really important, talk to God, incorporate gospel music into your life and let go of the secular music. Trust me, things get better as we do better. God Bless!
